The easiest and the least expensive case mod is to light up your computer a bit. You can just leave your case panel open and ff you've got a side made of Plexiglas even better.
You can light up your PC by using LED (Light Emitting Diode) fans, neon lamps, neon strings and various other lighting gadgets available these days.
Neon lights can be used to bright up your entire case, while LED fans (in different color than the neon lamp) can be used emphasize certain hardware components.
