Not quite. However, it is one of the top selling games of 2009, and has an extremely positive review amongst some of the gamers out there, including myself! I can sit there for hours on end playing it, just stomping on goombas like the old days. Though, I guess "old days" wouldn't be too far off, considering my age and the fact that I still play those old games (Super Mario World!).

Fact is, New Super Mario Bros is just an all-out great game. If you're a kid, you'll enjoy it. Heck, some of my friends who are obsesse with Modern Warfare 2 take a breather and grab some 'shrooms with Mario or Luigi, depending on who you pick. Or we can go with Toad, but come on... who would be Toad when you can be one of the actual Super Mario Brothers? Not I, that's for sure.

I got this game around Christmas, actually for Christmas, and I still play it every now and then (meaning every possible chance I can get). It's one of the most addictive games on the Wii, aside from probably Wii Sports or Wii Fit, both of which are great games for me. And now I'm deterring from what I've been trying to type for a while now.

New Super Mario Bros has fantastic graphics, much like the Nintendo DS version. Simple controls, easy (yet challenging) levels to run through. Not to mention when you play co-op, everything turns around when you are trying to jump on your friend to not let them get some of the coins.

You want something to entertain guests? Get this game, it's amazing. You can be 4 or 40, 6 or 60, or anywhere in between. Even my grandpa likes it, and he's not that old yet (meaning he's younger than 100!). Play solo, play multiplayer, just play. And yes, I'm well aware that the title says "the future of gaming." It can be, if you want to be an addict and play this game for hours. I just got finished playing myself.
