Game Apollo collects certain data in order to make your experience using this site easier and more interactive.

We take your privacy very seriously. The purpose of this document is to help you understand how we use user collected data.
The data we collect will not be shared to third parties. The data is kept for a limited period of time.

What information do we collect?

When registering at Game Apollo, you will have to submit your email and enter a password you would like to use on our site. Game Apollo will not share your email or password to third parties. The purpose of collecting your email is so we could email your with instructions to reset your password in case you have forgotten it and to notify you if you have any personal messages in your Game Apollo Inbox.
Notifications are disabled by default and you will have to opt in if you wish to receive such mails. Also, your email is not shown in your profile page by default. You have to opt in if you wish to show your email to other users of Game Apollo.
Emails are never shown to unregistered users.

Other personal information, like instant messenger usernames or website links are not required and by filling those fields you give us the right to show this information to other users. If at any time you wish to hide your email or IM username, you may do so.

We also put small text files, called cookies on your computer which help us identify you as a member of our site, or to remember your settings. Cookies are a standard in web industry and are nothing you should be afraid of.

Game Apollo logs all searched made trough our search system in order to calculate search statistics, that is, to be able to see what kind of content interests our users the most. When displaying statistics, we will not display any info that may be used to identify you (IP adresses for example).

As we add more features this Privacy Policy may change to reflect them. We also reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without any notice.

NOTE: Our Forums are considered as a separate system and this Privacy Policy does not entirely apply to them.
