Command & Conquer: Generals is a real time strategy game by EA Games. This is the first game in the Command & Conquer series not to be a part of the Red Alert or Tiberium universe. The game features three sides, China, USA and GLA (Global Liberation Army).
Every side focuses on a different strategy, China focuses on it's size, USA on technology and GLA on stealth actions. Game supports both single player and multiplayer games. In single player, players can either play the campaings or battle the AI in the skirmish mode. Multiplayer can be played over EA servers, direct IP connection between players or over lan.

WordBuilder, an application which comes with the game enables the players to build their own maps so there is a large number of additional maps available for download on the internet.
