Game description

Battlefield 1942 is a first-person shooter that is in a ran in a 3D engine. The game can be played via internet, LAN, and through single player. Players can control a total number of five infantry classes, each one with its own unique capabilities. The classes are: Scout, Anti-tank, Medic, Engineer, and Assault. Players can also fly fighter and bomber aircraft, command submarines, command aircraft carriers, mount artillery batteries, drive tanks, drive APC, drive jeeps, and command ships. This game is extremely popular for online play and has an extensive modding community.
