i've installed the reborn v5.0, and if i click on the old icon for zero hour, the game starts on ZH, HELP! where i can find the reborn icon, or how can i start generals in reborn

There is no Reborn icon, Are you using the first decade?

If so:

i don't know if im using the first decade version, how can i know that? and if i do, how can i redirect it to the new location since i only have (C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour) folder?. thanks

"The First Decade" is a game, if you can't find it chances are you don't have it :/

Follow these steps and see if it helps:

1. Make a clean uninstall of ZH (run the uninstaller, then delete the leftover ZH folder in your program files)
2. Reinstall ZH, and patch it to V1.04 (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!)
3. Run ZH, make sure it works.
4. Install Reborn (make sure the installer is correctly pointing to your ZH directory.)

Modders, great thx for ur mod. We really love it. We've got many players enjoying this game here in my country [aka Uzbekistan]. Surfing the forum, I figured out this mod is absolutely free and must not be sold. But, I dunno y, we have disc stores selling your mod [v5.0], with "Insert the CD to play" feature
Trust me, I was so happy when I found this forum. Was happy to know that generals looking into future.
The best thing I like about this mod is that it looks, plays and sounds like original production [like the EA version]. No mod I've seen so far seemed so original!

I also love modding. Currently learning programming[c++]. I'm not sure if I can help u, but I've some suggestions:
Please...
1. Fix the "technical difficulties"
2. Fix the campaign mode for GLA and China.
3. Add more interesting levels to campaign and challenge mode
4. Make sure powers are equal for all generals.
*** I know it's hard, but u might want to think about adding a new team [like russia or whatever] in the future versions

I have a small problem, I know this is not the problem with the original version [released by zhreborn.com], but...
When I try to play through LAN, I get a message saying "ur serial is already in use".
Since I have a dialup connection, I can't download the "zhreborn.com release".

Is there any chance of exchanging a file that might fix this problem? [like game.dat or generals.exe]

it means someone else with your serial number is already playing.

Either you used the same CD in 2 computers, or you got a pirated version of the game.

Yup, I connected two computers up to play gzh:reborn, and both of them have gz installed from the same cd, and I think it is an illegal copy.

I wanted to ask for something like a patch or serial...

Oh, I see now..... You do not provide the game client itself, u just give the files to be copied on top of the installed cczh...

There can be no word about illegal stuff...

Can somone help me I got a problem with the graphics some units (Prototype paladin, raptor , aurora, F-18 , mammoth tank etc) are blank and so is the water its blank all I can see is a Completely black unit shaped like the unit it's supposed to be. Thanks!
