Vietnam Glory Obscured is a total conversion mod for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. This mod focuses on the Vietnam conflict for its inspiration. New gameplay features and tactics have been added to reflect the Vietnam conflict, such as jungle and guerrilla warfare; along with a whole host of other features. There are two factions in Vietnam Glory Obscured. These are: the United States of America and the North Vietnamese Army. Both factions have real-life units from the war and also function as they would in real-life. For example, infantry warfare is more important in this mod than in regular Generals; while aircraft and tanks play support. There are new custom maps which focus on the different types of gameplay that are implemented in this mod. With a generous selection of different layouts and game modes, Vietnam Glory Obscured will have the player hooked for weeks on-end. Game modes are many, and include the classic King of the Hill type to a mode called Bombardment. In Bombardment, the USA must take over positions while the Vietnamese have full map vision and better defensive positions; similar to what USA troops had to face in the real conflict.
